This snorkeling tour takes you to two of the best snorkeling sites in Zanzibar. Get a glimpse of the underwater world. Largely unexplored, the ocean, especially around the coastal areas, is full of life.
The abundance and variety of color and creatures is simply staggering.
There are six main dive areas around Mnemba Kichwani, Aquarium, Wattabomi, Small Wall, Kokota, and the Sand Banks. Kichwani is the most recommended site for snorkeling. Also, the marine park of Tanzania, Chumbe Marine Park, is part of the Chumbe Island Coral Park ecology.
With depths ranging from 1 to 3 meters with the movement of the tides, this reef is easy to explore by even beginners. A swim to the reef ridge will open a fabulous world where there are parrotfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, triggerfish, sweetlips, Moorish idols, etc.
