Blue Day Trip

Blue Day out trip starts with your pickup from your hotel at 08h00 and drive to Fumba village located at southwest of Zanzibar. We board onto traditional wooden dhows and ride toward the Menai Bay conservation area to enjoy guided snorkeling in the beautiful crystal waters with excellent coral reefs and stunning tropical colorful fish at sight. Humpback and bottlenose dolphins are seen on 90% of our trips. A large clear powdery sandbank in the area is a paradise to take a breathtaking moment as we set a temporary camp under the tented shades and allow you to enjoy the pristine sand and swim in shallow waters or simply enjoy the sunbath on the stunning beach.

Is unfair to leave the bay without a visit to the mangrove lagoon by dhow and enjoy a natural swimming pool that changes with the tide, a place of haven! After a delicious Swahili grilled fresh seafood lunch at Kwale island we return to Fumba by using the lateen sail subject to wind permission.
